Stephanie McCoy’s second work of fiction, The She-Novelist in Venice, a novel based on the American writer Constance Fenimore Woolson, is a work in progress. Set in Venice, Italy, in 1893, the novel traces the last months of the writer’s life and her earlier days in Rome, Florence, Mackinac Island, and Cairo.
